Java Servlet Error when Attempting to Upload Organization Files

Technote (troubleshooting)

Problem(Abstract)

Receive Java Servlet Error when attempting to upload org files

Cause

You will be able to successfully check in and out organizations to the WBI Workbench Server after changing JAVA settings and using org files with the proper version.

Resolving the problem

Change the JAVA Settings in the Classpath from J2ee.jar to j2ee.jar

The classpath is located in the WAS Admin Console > Application Server > JVM Settings tab. Then restart the WAS Application Server. Then attempt to check in an org file into the WBI Workbench Server repository.

Now you may obtain an error which states "Error while adding/checking <file name>. Invalid
Organization version. You need to check the organization version." This error occurs when you try to check in an organization created with an older version of Workbench into a newer
version of Workbench Server.

You will be able to successfully check in and out organizations to the WBI Workbench Server after changing JAVA settings and using org files with the proper
version.
