WebSphere MQ terminates at end of memory with HASP310, CSQV086E reason code 00F30406

Technote (troubleshooting)

Problem(Abstract)

WebSphere MQ (WMQ) gets CSQV086E and terminates at end of memory (EOM) with reason code 00F30406. This means a z/OS FORCE command has brought the address space down, but no such command was issued.

Cause

RTM terminates the WebSphere MQ subsystem.

Resolving the problem

System-wide storage allocations for RTM were insufficient to handle a failure in the WMQ subsystem. Ensure your buffer allocations are backed by sufficient extended virtual private storage so GETMAIN requests by WMQ do not fail. Allocate sufficient storage to RTM to ensure recovery of all subsystems.

Refer to WebSphere MQ > Planning > Planning your WebSphere MQ environment on z/OS > Planning your storage and performance requirements > Address space storage

in the online documentation for directions on how to manage address space storage.
