You implement shared queues using WebSphere MQ (WMQ). When you start the Queue Manager the following error messages are issued:
CSQ5008E CSQ5CONN DB2-name is not a member of data-sharing group dsg-name CSQV086E QUEUE MANAGER ABNORMAL TERMINATION REASON=00F50007
You receive similar errors when running the CSQ5PQSG utility to add WebSphere MQ entries to the DB2 data sharing group:
CSQU000I CSQ5PQSG IBM WebSphere MQ for z/OS
CSQU500I CSQ5PQSG Queue-sharing Group Utility
CSQU501I ADD QSG function requested
CSQU503I QSG=qsg-name, DB2 DSG=dsg-name, DB2 ssid=db2-name
CSQU517I XCF group already defined
CSQU525E DB2 db2-name is not a member of data sharing group dsg-name
CSQU147I CSQ5PQSG Utility terminated, return code=8
The GROUPNAME specified in the QSGDATA parm of the CSQ6SYSP system macro did not specify the correct group name value.
Resolving the problem
You must ensure that the data sharing group name specified is correct as well as the individual members names. If not, this subsystem will not become a part of the expected data sharing group. Queue manager startup will fail.
You can use output from the IP SSIDATA command (issued against a dump of the queue manager MSTR) to determine if the groupname specified in the QSGDATA parm of the CSQ6SYSP system macro is correct.
