Abstract
You want to know when the end of service (EOS) date is for a CICS product. This document includes information concerning CICS Transaction Server for z/OS, CICS Transaction Server for VSE/ESA, CICS/VSE, and CICS Tools.

The following table contains CICS products having EOS dates in 2009 and 2010. Click on the EOS date to view the announcement letter.

To view the end of service dates for any supported IBM product:
  1. Click on the URL for the IBM Software Support Lifecycle home page:
    http://www.ibm.com/software/support/lifecycle/index_a_z.html.

  2. Find the a to z list at the top of the Web page.

  3. Click on the first letter of the product you are interested in. The list of products starting with that letter will display.
    • Click on C to review the end of support dates for products starting with CICS.
    • Click on I to review the end of support dates for IBM Session Manager.
    • Click on T to review the end of support dates for Tivoli OMEGAMON XE for CICS.

  4. Scroll down to the product you are interested in. Or, enter cntl-F to display a search box, then enter the product you want to find and click on Find Next.

  5. Find the end of service date under the column entitled End of support.

  6. Click on the End of support date to view the announcement letter.

  7. Click on the Product name to display the details page view which also contains the End of Marketing (EOM) date.

You can also get to the Lifecycle page by clicking on Product Support Lifecycle on the "Overview" support page for any CICS product. To get to the support page for any CICS product, select the product from the drop down on the CICS family page. Then click on Product Support Lifecycle under Support tools towards the bottom of the page, to display the details page view which also contains the EOM date.

The products might not display on the Lifecycle page after the EOS date. The following tables contain CICS products having EOS dates in 2008, 2007, and before 2007.
