Question

Is Lotus Notes vulnerable to the security advisory posted by the UK National Infrastructure Security Co-ordination Centre (NISCC) titled "Vulnerability Issues in Implementations of the S/MIME Protocol"? The NISCC address is as follows:

IBM Lotus Software is aware of this issue and is investigating further. No vulnerabilities were specifically identified in Lotus Notes by the researchers, but we are currently conducting our own investigation. Any issues that are uncovered will be addressed in future maintenance releases, and this technote will be updated.
