Problem(Abstract)
This technote provides the process for finding the versions of WebSphere® Studio Tooling, and the WebSphere Test Environment.
Resolving the problem
To view the version of WebSphere Studio that you are using, select Help > About IBM WebSphere Studio.
The version of WebSphere Studio is found beside Versionin the pop-up window.
To review the version of the WebSphere Test Environment Server, do the following steps:
- For the WebSphere Test Environment v4.x, navigate to:
ws_install_dir/runtimes\aes_v4\properties\com\ibm\websphere
and open the file named: product.xml. The version field indicates the version of the application server.
- For WebSphere Test Environment v5.x, navigate to:
ws_install_dir\runtimes\base_v5\properties\version
Open the file that has the name of the component you are interested in and find the version field.
Open the file: BASE.product to find the version level of the base WebSphere Application Server.
