Release 5.0.12 EMEA language delivery plan
Language versions of the Notes Client release 5.0.12 will be available via Electronic Software Delivery (ESD) in EMEA between May and July 2003, in the following languages:

ArabicFinnishHungarianRussian
Brazilian PortugueseFrenchItalianSlovenian
CzechGermanNorwegianSpanish
DanishGreekPolishSwedish
DutchHebrewPortugueseTurkish

Please note:
  • For R5.0.12, the IBM Lotus Domino Server, IBM Lotus Domino Designer, and the IBM Lotus Domino Administrator will be available in English only.
  • Lotus Notes Client users can replace the design of existing templates with the translated R5.0.12 design to take advantage of R5.0.12 template fixes.
  • You can copy the translated templates from a translated R5.0.12 Notes Client to the server template directory, and force a design refresh.
  • As part of the Notes Client kit, we will deliver the IBM Lotus Domino Web Access templates (formerly iNotes Web Access) in 18 languages (no Arabic or Hebrew). You can copy these translated templates to the server installation directory to provide translated Domino Web Access 5.0.12 support.
  • Customers can use some of the content of the Notes Client delivery to convert an English R5.0.12 server into a localized R5.0.12 server. A localized server is an English server with translated templates and several other translated files which provide a translated user experience. Please refer to the R5.0.12 Release Notes for configuration instructions.
  • A translated R5.0.12 pubnames.ntf will ship as part of the translated R5.0.12 Client. You can copy this translated template to the server template directory, to enhance the translated user experience.
  • Clients who access Notes templates from a browser receive the UI from the server (e.g., names of days, months, some folders). Several translated server files will ship as part of the translated R5.0.12 Client. You can copy these translated files to the server.
  • Customers who need to run Administrator with a translated UI can choose to run the R5.0.11 Administrator.
