You are using CA-ACF2 as your External Security Manager (ESM) with CICS Transaction Server for z/OS (CICS TS). You receive the following message when signing in to the CICSPlex SM (CPSM) TSO EUI:
BBMSS609E INCORRECT OR UNAUTHORIZED PASSWORD FOR USERID userid.
The CAS has requirements that have to be met in ACF2, MULTI USER ADDRESS SPACE AUTHORITY and the capability for specifying PASSCHECK=NO. CPSM requires access to the ACEE and EXTRACT PW has to work.
The CAS runs as a started task. CMASs can run as started tasks, but this is not required. A CA-ACF2 LOGONID must be associated with each of these started tasks. The LOGONID must be able to run as a started task, and must be authorized to access all data sets used within the address space. The LOGONID for each address space is associated with that address space by the CA-ACF2 started task control (STCXIT) installation exit, or by an exact name match.
Use the following TSO commands to define LOGONIDs for the CAS and a CMAS:
The MUSASS attribute on the LOGONIDs is required.
The JOBFROM and NO-SMC attributes are required, but will be set automatically at run time if not previously established as attributes for each LOGONID.
The BDT attribute on the LOGONIDs is required. This enables the PSWDXTR option of the GSO PSWD record to be effective.
After you add the privileges MUSASS ,JOBFROM , NO-SMC and BDT to the logonid being used by the CAS, you will be able to successfully connect to CPSM.
