Problem
When your press the CLEAR on your browser it displays 'HTTP 500 - Internal server error Internet Explorer.' You also receive message DFHWB0137 CWBA An error code X'420B' occurred in DFHWBTTA followed by message DFHWB1021.
Symptom
These are the message in your CICS log:
DFHWB0137 CWBA An error code X'420B' occurred in DFHWBTTA while accessing the Web state data for this transaction.
DFHWB1021 CICS Web State Manager could not find state data for state token uvuiqyha in order to perform the query partner request for task number 00358, CICS unit of work id X'B69FEDA865FA3A40'.
Cause
The application had not set up a next tranid in the EXEC CICS RETURN TRANSID or in a field on the screen containing a tranid. In this case, it was correct to receive 'HTTP 500 - Internal server error Internet Explorer' when the CLEAR key was entered.
Resolving The Problem
If you are pressing the CLEAR key and there is no next tranid set up then you are starting a NEW conversation. In this case, you can enter the tranid you want from the URL or by clicking a link set up for this.
