Question
"NetView agent's name not found Midmand is running." error occurs when bringing up smconfig.
Answer
Run smmlm -i.
This specifies that, when the midmand daemon is reinitialized, the daemon ignores the resume file (called "/var/adm/smv2/log/smMlmCurrent.config" by default) and instead reads the configuration from the configuration files in the directory specified by the -c flag.
If there is no configuration file, specified settings are read from the default configuration directory.
