Error description

  • Dragging filters to anywhere in RSE does not appear to do
anything even when dragged within the same subsystem and filter
pool. The help (quoted below) indicates that it should work:

"Tip: You can drag and drop filters from one subsystem or filter
pool to another. However, they need to be of the same subsystem
type. Also, if you drag a filter into another filter, the target
filter iou as updated with filter strings from the first filter,
to combine them. You can also search for IBM i member strings.
You can either press Ctrl+h or click Search > Search from the
workbench menu. Click the i Search tab, specify the search
string and any other criteria in the dialog box, and click
    Search."

The following Open RSE bugzilla for the base problem is:
    https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=416544

And the corresponding backport bugzilla (for RDp 9.0) is:

    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
Users should be able to drag and drop a filter on top of an
other filter such that the target filter gets updated to
include it's original filter strings plus those of the filter
    that was dragged and dropped.
    This isn't working as documented.
