DSPF and PRTF members with CCSID(*REFC) would have the referenced CCSID added to the source after loading the member into Screen or Report Designer.

Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: Users of Screen or Report Designer or LPEX * * that have source with CCSID(*REFC). * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Loading DSPF or PRTF source with * * CCSID(*REFC) into Screen or Report * * Designer adds an extra CCSID keyword * * to that source. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** When PRTF or DSPF source is loaded into Screen or Report Designer, database reference fields are resolved. If a database reference field has a CCSID keyword with the *REFC parameter, then the CCSID of the referenced field is to be used. Before fix pack 8.5.1 an additional CCSID keyword with this resolved CCSID value is generated with the DDS source at this point. If the source were to be saved, the additional keyword would be saved as well. Even if the new CCSID keyword is deleted, it will be regenerated every time the source is parsed. This behavior can also happen within the LPEX editor if the field in question has the cursor on it and the properties view is open.
Problem conclusion
This problem is fixed in the RD Power 8.5.1 Fix Pack.
