SE53592: RDP 8.5 PROMPTED NON-BATCH COMPILE OF AN IPROJECT MEMBER DOES NOT SHOW THE ERROR LIST

Error description

• If the batch compile for iProject builds is turned off then the
  Remote Actions > Compile of a source member without prompt the
  Error List view gets populated when the compile completes as
  expected.  However invoking the exact same compile command using
  the Remote Actions > Compile (Prompt) on the same member in the
  iProject causes the Error List view not to be populated when the
  compile completes.
  

Local fix

• For a source member type that is exhibiting this problem use the
  context action Remote Actions >Work with Compile Commands  and
  select the compile command that is being used.  Edit the command
  definition to append a CL comment ( /* */ )  to the end of the
  command.  If the command is prompted this work around will only
  be successful if no changes are made.

  This problem is fixed in RDi 9.0.
