APAR status

Error description

  • BRSTUDIO table is not cleaned correctly after the deletion of a
    branch which contains  new rule artifact(s) and prevents the
    republish of these artifact(s) to main branch.
    The following error is thrown in Rule Designer:
    ilog.rules.teamserver.model.IlrKnownUUIDException : Cannot
    insert element, the UUID is already known with type =
    brm.ActionRule and UUID = 81d7ed32-0cb9-4585-bf99-c986f4d29a9b
    
    In DC, perform diagnostic, warning is displayed:
    Check UUID table    ILOG.BRSTUDIO {
    UUID=81d7ed32-0cb9-4585-bf99-c986f4d29a9b; PROJECT=6;
    ELTORIGINALID=61; TYPE=43(brm.ActionRule) }
    

Local fix

  • 1) refactor the uuids of the "new" artifacts before publishing
    2)  use SQL script, to clean the BRSTUDIO table for those
    unwanted records.
    3)  Perform the merge before deleting of the subbranch  in DC.
