APAR status

  • Closed as fixed if next.

Error description

  • When using the hierarchical layout with recursive mode with
    fixed node positions (i.e. pure link layout) on nested graph,
    extra bends might occur.

Local fix

  • Using the IlvShortLinkLayout.

    Set the LinkLayout rule and IlvShortLinkLayout rule as
    following:
    LinkLayout {
       _rule_name : "Link Layout" ;
       enabled : "true" ;
       graphLayout : "@#IlvShortLinkLayout" ;
       hierarchical : "false" ;
       connectingLinksToShape : "true" ;
       useOldLinkRoutesInHierarchical : "true" ;
    }

    Subobject#IlvShortLinkLayout {
       _EDITABLE : "true" ;
       class :
    "ilog.views.graphlayout.link.shortlink.IlvShortLinkLayout" ;
       globalConnectorStyle :
    "ilog.views.graphlayout.link.shortlink.IlvShortLinkLayout.EVENLY
    _SPACED_PINS" ;
       minFinalSegmentLength : "30.0" ;
    }
