DataStore Maintenance Rules are created by the user. The user can create the rule using any available "Destination" Table. The Destination table's columns can then be used to create conditions on the rule when it is run. If the Destination Table's name has spaces in it and a condition is created using that table's columns, the Rule will fail to run successfully. Steps to Reproduce 1. Import a Custom Table and give it a name that contains spaces 2. Go to the Data Maintenance Rules Column Properties form 3. Add the custom table name to the Destination_Table Dropdown Items list and save. 4. Go to the Data Maintenance Rules Form. 5. Add a new rule and choose the custom table from the Destination Table dropdown. Complete the rule and save. Make sure the rule is enabled. 6. Click on 'Create/edit Conditions'. 7. Select a column and action from the dropdowns on the popup and then click 'Add Condition'. 8. Click 'Save Conditions' and exit the popup. 9. From the Data Menu, Select Table Data Synchronization 10. Deselect all the Synchronization Tasks 11. Select 'Run Data Maintenance Rules' 12. Click on "Next>" 13. See the Rule fail.
The Destination table should be renamed to not contain spaces. 1. Go to the Advanced Table Management page 2. Select the table name from the list and click on 'Configure' 3. Change the Table Name from "Table Name" to "Table_Name" (for example). 4. Delete the existing Data Maintenance Rule 5. Update the Destination Table Dropdown Item list with the correct Custom table name. 6. Recreate the rule using the new Table Name that does not contain spaces.
This issue has been resolved and the fix will be available in IBM ILOG Inventory and Product Flow Analyst 184.108.40.206.
