APAR status

Error description

  • Run the blend.xls and diet.xls examples.Edit
Description
The Excel connector returns "infeasible" for both problems.
Excel connector for 12.4.0.1 returned the correct results.



RTC-13242

Local fix

  • Don't use SUM or SUMPRODUCT :-(
Instead use '+' and '*'.
That workaround will only work for very small problems.

Will fix in 12.5.0.1 fixpack.

Problem summary

  • Issue was fixed before any production code containing this
problem was released.  APAR was still created because this was
found late in the development cycle.

Problem conclusion

  • No workarounds needed.
