Error description

  • See RTC-14076 for details. CPXfltwrite with 12.5 doesn't
properly handle filter names in flt file. This can result
in a crash in Solaris, and incorrect name on other operating
    systems:

    * ENCODING=ISO-8859-1
    NAME mip.sav Filters
    DIVFILTER (null) 2 inf //
    should say "divflt" not (null).
     ow(w1) 1 1
     ow(w2) 1 1
     ow(w3) 1 0
     ow(w4) 1 0
    ENDATA

Local fix

  • Workaround: use NULL for filter name in flt file when calling
    CPXsolnpooladddiversityfilter or CPXaddsolnpooladdrangefilter.

This will be fixed in 12.5.0.1 fixpack.

Problem summary

  • Incorrect filter names when calling CPXfltwrite

Problem conclusion

Temporary fix

  • Pass NULL for all filter names. They are not essential for the
    .flt file content.
