Error description
This only happens with 12.5.0.0. MPS files with ASCII characters with code values of 128-255 will not be properly translated, resulting in error messages such as: CPLEX> Selected objective sense: MINIMIZE Selected objective name: PROFIT CPLEX Error 1448: Line 7: '' is not a row name. No file read. Previous versions of CPLEX handled this with no trouble. RTC-14608
Local fix
Use CPLEX 12.4. If need 12.5 for performance, use 12.4 to input file, write out a .rew or SAV file to avoid the input of these characters, then input with 12.5.
