When performing Edit in Excel (EIE) some tables export extra "helper" worksheets to assist with filling in the data. For tables of this kind that export the Time Period helper table, the following exception occurs when the user attempts to use EIE: "System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException: Expression type int is invalid for COLLATE clause." This was originally reported for Japanese, but is present in other supported Asian languages as well (Korean, T-Chinese, S-Chinese). Affected Tables: * Demand * Forced Opening: Line * Forced Opening: Plants * Forced Opening: Warehouse * Group Constraints * Pre-defined Inventory Customer * Pre-defined Inventory Warehouse * Pre-defined Lanes * Pre-defined Production * Pre-defined Recipes * Production Line Series * Recipe Time Period Eligibility * Warehouse Product Constraints * Pipeline Flow Warehouse Min Inventory To Reproduce: * Navigate to the Application Options form (Application Button > Options) and select an Asian language in the User Interface Language drop-down * Open an existing scenario or a create a new one * Open one of the affected tables from above * Do whatever is necessary to show records in the table * Click on the EIE button
Use Multi-scenario Edit in Excel (thus avoiding the creation of the Time Period helper table). Alternately, export the table data to Excel and then import it manually.
