Error description
The Data Store Import Table Wizard fails to import .CSV files from the server (aka, Rapid Access Directory or RAD). The location of the Server folder is defined in the web.config under the key="ServerImportDirectory" and is located on the same server as the IPFA interface. Custom Datastore tables can be imported from files or from other Data Store tables using the Import Data Store Table Wizard. Supported file types for import: .xls, .xlsx, .mdb, .accdb, .csv. Location of Source: Upload (files located on users computer), Server (RAD located on the same server as the interface), Data Store (any existing table located in any existing data store). To Reproduce: 1. Open Data Store 2. Select DATA>IMPORT TABLE from Top Dropdown menu 3. Select Location of Source: Server 4. Select a .CSV file from the list of files displayed 5. Click 'Next>' 6. Error Message displays "Only files with the following extension types can be imported: Access(.MDB, .ACCDB), Excel(.XLS, .XLSX) or .CSV"
Local fix
Current Workaround: 1. Put the .CSV file in a valid folder for upload. 2. Select Location of Source: Upload 3. Click 'Browse...' 4. Navigate to and select the .CSV file and click open 5. Click 'Next>' Alternately, you can use a different file type (e.g., .XLS).
