PQ69309: HOME DIRECTORY NOT SET WHEN USING SECURE FTP WITH TLS

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• We have seen a difference between FTP and Secure FTP with TLS.
  When we use SFTP, after logging in we have to do a change
  directory to the username, then we arrive in the user-directory
  When we use FTP we directly arrive in the user directory after
  logging-in.

  *                      default).  It is set properly if the    *
  *                      STARTDIRECTORY parameter is HFS.        *

  The current working directory should be set to the the user's
  TSO prefix, or userid at login time.

Problem conclusion

• EZAFTPRA has been changed to set the current working directory
  to the user's TSO prefix or userid when the STARTDIRECTORY
  parameter is MVS and using a secure FTP connection with TLS.
