Error description

  • In IBM Curam Child Welfare (CW) users are unable create a
Contact Log on an Ongoing Case for a Person marked as duplicate.

Local fix

  • The user may unmerge the person to capture the Contact Log
details, and then merge the duplicate person

Contact Log on an Ongoing Case for a Person marked as duplicate.

Problem conclusion

  • APAR addressed in v6.0.4.4 iFix2 which is available to download
from Fix Central
Previously if a duplicate person was an existing case
participant of a case such as an Investigation Case, it was not
possible to add the duplicate as a contact participant in a
contact, even though the duplicate was an existing case
participant.
This issue has now been resolved and an existing case
participant can now be added as a contact participant even if
the case participant is marked as a duplicate.
