Error description

  • In IBM Curam Social Program Management, when editing an MSWord
communication template in the sysadmin part of the application,
a modal window displays titled 'Error: Premature End of File'
which contains a SAXParseException. There are however no
functional side effects, the underlying actions (e.g. modify,
save, close and reopening the document) are all carried out
    successfully as requested.

Problem summary

  • The defect tracked in this APAR has been addressed in v6.0.4.4
which is available to download via Fix Central.

Problem conclusion

  • PO01244, TEC-14013 - SAXParseException thrown when editing a
    template
Previously when template data was not passed into the FILE_EDIT
widget for populating field values a dialog would appear
displaying a stack trace exception. This has now been changed
so that a more user friendly warning message is displayed in
the dialog instead of the stack trace.
