APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When running a packaged workspace that uses external routines
  and user is forced off (ABENDx22), he receives ABEND0C4 in
  AP2XN11 at displacement X'2E20' in routine X11$MIEX because R9
  is pointing to an area already freed.

  If the abending program does not have an abend exit, control
  comes to Associated Processor 11 abend exit. As part of
  handling the abend, the control blocks associated with the
  program are free'd. Later in the processing, an attempt is
  made to queue an informational message regarding the abend.
  This message handling used a field in a control block previously
  free'd. Hence, ABEND0C4
  

Problem conclusion

• Associated Processor 11 will be corrected to not issue the
  informational message if the control block required has been
  free'd.
