    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    An application connects to a remote DB2 for z/OS server and
    offloads a query. The Accelerator trace information shows all
    queries are assigned the default Netezza priority for execution.
    DB2, when on a z/OS 2.1 or higher operating system, did not
    properly calculate and set a priority level. Thus the default
    Netezza priority level was assigned to all offloaded queries.

Problem conclusion

  • DB2 has been corrected to properly calculate and set the
    priority level for remote offload queries.
