Error description

  • The WebSphere eXtreme Scale object query component allocated
extra lock objects for entries returned from the query. The
result is that OutOfMemory errors and heap dumps can occur.

    ****************************************************************
When an object query runs, two lock objects are
created for data that is accessed as part of the query. When
the query completes, the transaction unlocks and destroys
the locks. However, both of the locks might not be released. The
locks remaining in the system can contribute to causing
    OutOfMemory conditions.

Problem conclusion

  • Both locks are destroyed, and only one lock is acquired when
    necessary.
