Problem Description:
The MS VE Server Statistics Overview page shows zAAP details as
N/A. Technical reason is that we check PCCAATTR for PCCAIFA
("specialty" processor), but this flag is not set for a zIIP
processor used for zAAP.

Local fix

Problem summary


    

  • ITCAM AD VE shows zAAP utilization "N/A" for z/OS
WebSphere application servers running on LPARs with zAAP on
zIIP.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • Data Collector code is changed to examine CPU consumed on zIIP
processors as well as zAAP processors.
