  • When migrating a federated appserver to v8.5, WC_adminhost and
WC_adminhost_secure ports are created when they are not needed.

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: WC_adminhost endpoints are being        *
*                      unnecessarily added to federated        *
*                      application servers.                    *

* RECOMMENDATION:                                              *

Even when WC_adminhost endpoints do not exist in the old
profile, migration is forcing them into the serverindex.xml of
the new profile.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • WC_adminhost and WC_adminhost_secure are no longer added to
the serverindex.xml if they do not exist in the source release
before migration.

APAR PM98759 is currently targeted for inclusion in WebSphere
Application Server Fix Pack 7.0.0.31 of WebSphere Application
Server.
