• This APAR addresses File Manager V13 problems found after
  shipping and before GA.

  * USERS AFFECTED: All File Manager users.                      *

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: 1. File Manager will abends0c9 if the   *
  *                      'Show field statistics' option has been *
  *                      selected when comparing data sets.      *
  *                      2. File Manager Base will receive msg   *
  *                      'Panel FMNPMQE error' attempting to     *
  *                      view or edit an MQ queue.               *
  *                      3. An ABENDS0C4 is encountered when a   *
  *                      formatted compare is performed where    *
  *                      one field being compared exceeds        *
  *                      a record boundary.                      *
  *                      4. Copy from concatenated load          *
  *                      libraries results in msgIEB120I         *
  *                      and MSGIEB160I.                         *
  *                      5. Comparing dimensioned fields to non  *
  *                      dimensioned fields is not producing     *
  *                      correct results.                        *

  * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the provided PTF.                      *

  3. When performing field comparisons and the start location of
  either the old or new field (but not both) exceed the respective
  record boundary then File Manager will try to compare the fields
  which may result in an ABENDS0C4.
