PM98147: RDz V8.5.x generates password violations when using ACF2 when -DAPPLID is commented out

Error description

  • Abstract: Rational Developer for System z V8.5.x generates
    password violations when using ACF2 if
    _RSE_JAVAOPTS='$_RSE_JAVAOPTS -DAPPLID=FEKAPPL of the
    rsed.envvars is commented out. The password violations will
    occur regardless if the default FEKAPPL ID is used or not.
    
    The SYSLOG may reveal an error message similar to the following:
    STC26662  ACF01200 INVALID PASSWORD/AUTHORITY FOR ID USERID FROM
    HOSTSYSNAME
    
    A  ACF2 SECTRACE may reveal a message like the following:

    Local fix:
    Commend out _RSE_JAVAOPTS='$_RSE_JAVAOPTS -DAPPLID=FEKAPPL
    variable in the rsed.envvars and use the default APPLID.
