Currently, in DB2 10 and 11, the PROGRAM PREPARATION option has two bugs as noted in the Problem Description section. In DB2 11 only, the BIND/REBIND/FREE option does not support PROGAUTH, a new option of the BIND PLAN and REBIND PLAN commands. For more information about PROGAUTH, see the DB2 11 for z/OS Command Reference.
Problem conclusion
In response, this APAR modifies DB2I: * In DB2 10 and 11, the PROGRAM PREPARATION option is fixed to prevent the two errors noted in the Problem Description section. * In DB2 11 only, the BIND/REBIND/FREE option adds support for the PROGAUTH option of BIND PLAN. - On panel DSNEBP10 (DEFAULTS FOR BIND PLAN), enter DISABLE or ENABLE in the new PROGRAM AUTHORIZATION field to specify the PROGAUTH option for BIND PLAN. Or enter blanks to prevent the PROGAUTH option from being included in the generated BIND PLAN statement. - On panel DSNEBP11 (DEFAULTS FOR REBIND PLAN), enter DISABLE or ENABLE in the new PROGRAM AUTHORIZATION field to specify the PROGAUTH option for REBIND PLAN. Or enter blanks to prevent the PROGAUTH option from being included in the generated REBIND PLAN statement.
