    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    When partitions are replaced after a WebSphere eXtreme Scale
    container fails, partition placement fails to gracefully
    quiesce running transactions, leaving the transactions to
    timeout and rollback. During this time, the application can
    experience lock timeout exception errors. After the
    transactions timeout, the result will be CWOBJ0061W messages
    and transaction timeout exceptions. Normal processing resumes
    after the timeout occurs.

Problem conclusion

  • The partition placement is deferred until the transactions
    complete or an appropriate wait time occurs.
