Local fix
Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: WebSphere eXtreme Scale customers who use * * the TTL eviction feature and the eXtreme * * memory feature with an asynchronous * * replication topology are affected by this * * problem. * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: During system load, an eXtreme Scale * * container server might fail * * unexpectedly with a reported * * segmentation fault. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** A segmentation fault is seen when using TTL eviction with asynchronous replication. The automatically generated Javacore file indicates that the error occurred while the current thread was executing code from the com.ibm.ws.objectgrid.io.offheap.impl.XsOffHeapEvictionDataImpl class.
Problem conclusion
To prevent the segmentation fault, reference handling logic was encapsulated to internal wrapper classes.
Temporary fix
