Error description

When using a JavaServer Faces(JSF) 2.0 Exception Handler and a
ViewExpiredException occurs during an Ajax/Partial request then
a NullPointerException can occur in the PartialViewContextImpl
during the redirect to the specified
error page.

A NullPointerException can occur when there is a
ViewExpiredException during an AJAX request  and the
application has a JSF 2.0 exception handler defined that
redirects to an error page.

Problem conclusion

The JSF MyFaces code was modified to avoid the
NullPointerException.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fix packs 8.0.0.8 and 8.5.5.1.  Please refer to the
