• Abstract:
  Attempts to import a profile into the Domains project or a model
  into your project result in the error 'There is no registered
  extension server'. The exception is not helping you to
  understand the root cause of the error nor how you can resolve
  it.
  
  Error Description:
  Using IBM Rational Software Architect (RSA) Design Manager (DM)
  4.0.3, if you try to import your profile into the Domains
  project without the RSA Domain extension server installed, the
  import fails with the error:

  Since RSA DM 4.0.3, you need to install the RSA domain extension
  server to ensure that the Design Management Server can process
  RSA content such as diagrams, data from the Explorer view and
  properties or have the import functionality.
  
  You expect a more user friendly message such as: 'Check if the
  RSA domain extension server is installed'  instead of Exception:
  There is no registered.
  
  
  SOLUTION
  Install the RSA Domain Extension following the steps outlined in

  time':
