  • Customer running IMS replication received
CACB508E LOG WRITE FAILED WITH CODE <0x00000000
after IMS replication had been recycled due to an auxiliary
storage shortage.

* USERS AFFECTED: All Classic Federation, Classic CDC and      *
*                 Classic I2I users.                           *

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The classic servers would issue         *
*                      CACB508E and CACB509I messages in       *
*                      support of the old SASC foundation.     *
*                      Since we are no longer using SASC,      *
*                      these messages are being removed.       *
****************************************************************
* RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
****************************************************************
Classic servers would issue CACB508E and CACB50II messages when
unable to write to logger.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • The code that issued the CACB508E and CACB509I messages has been
removed as it is no longer necessary.
