Some session attributes won't be persisted to the remote grid if the IBMHttpSessionData flag is not properly set.
Local fix
Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: Users of HTTP session replication in * * WebSphere * * eXtreme Scale. * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Users with sessions that had * * previously been explicitly * * invalidated might not be able to store * * session attributes in the remote data * * grid after creating a new session. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** After a new session has been created, the locally cached version of the session is not updated to indicate that it is no longer being invalidated.
Problem conclusion
The proper flags are now correctly reset to allow users to invalidate, then recreate a new session.
