There is no handling of timeouts or errors in the IBM Rational ClearCase Remote Client communication when this becomes unresponsive or receives an error on in the CccProcessProxy. This results in IBM Rational ClearTeam Explorer hanging and needing to be restarted. WORKAROUND: None.
In ClearTeam Explorer, the find checkout operation can take a considerable amount of time and there is no way to cancel the operation.
This problem is fixed in IBM Rational ClearCase 8.0.0.08 and 8.0.1.01
