APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Connecting to an IBM Rational CCRC WAN Server from any resource
    under a loaded view will result in a hang IBM Rational ClearTeam
    Explorer IDE.  The connection will never be made and the
    application will need to be killed and restarted.
    
    The Connect option is available when a right-click is done on a
    file or directory element.  When attempting to connect to a CCRC
    WAN Server by way of this hangs CTE.
    
    Workaround:
    Only choose the Connect option from the ClearCase drop-down
    menu, a CCRC web view, My Views, or the ClearCase server.
