Error description

  • When using eXtreme Data Format (XDF) with classes that implement
their own readObject and/or writeObject, the super class method
can be invoked instead of a subclass implementation of the
method that overrides the super class's implementation. This can
leave some fields uninitialized which can result in unexpected
behavior. An example error that can be seen is a
NullPointerException exception when trying to reference fields
    that were not correctly initialized.
