• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Problem only occurs with servlet rendering and if authoring
  tools is configured to 'Create draft content' for the edit
  action properties.
  
  Content item is previewed and edited using the inline editing
  function, then Saved and Closed.
  Content is saved successfully, but the authoring UI shows no
  success message.
  

Local fix

• The addition of a success message when a draft is created using
  Authoring tools, and the addition of some post-creation item
  clean-up
