APAR status

Error description

  • After completing a direct update on Android 2.2, the busy
    indicator (Loading... screen) becomes stuck and will not hide as
    expected. The Loading... pop up and spinner continues to block
    application use even though visual elements have changes in the
    background after the direct update completes.

Problem conclusion

  • The code has been fixed so that the busy indicator is correctly
    removed.
    
    The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for fixpack 5.0.6.2.
