Error description

  • Abstract:
    
    Attempts to use the EJB Deployment tool from  WebSphere
    Application Server version 6.1.0.45 results in 'Connection time
    out' error.
    
    Problem:
    
    The EJB 3.0 feature pack introduced a problem in the ejbdeploy
    code where it fails to properly use the local XML catalog to get
    the EJB 2.0 DTD file from one of the ejbdeploy plugins.
    
    This problem started when IBM WebSphere Application Server was
    upgraded from version 6.1.0.7 to version 6.1.0.45 and the error
    appears as:
    
    org.eclipse.jst.j2ee.commonarchivecore.internal.exception.Resour
