Error description
When render the component by WCM connect servlet directly, WCM by default sets the return content type to "text/html". This prevent the browser from identifying the right format if the content is XML like a RSS feed or others. The improvement for this is to add a new parameter in the request called "subtype" which will be used as the sub type of the parameter "content-type" in response HTTP header. For example, if the request has "subtype=xml", the return value of content type will be "text/xml". It's actually an APAR for WCM 6.0.

Problem conclusion
New parameter "subtype" is supported, so user can leverage that to specify the sub-type
