The activity service's server-side interceptors may leave
activities (ie business activity or workarea) on the thread
after executing an inbound request.  Subsequent re-use of the
threads can lead to a corruption of the activity hierarchy
such that an activity becomes a parent or ancestor of itself.
This may result in a variety of errors including a
SystemException on importing a corrupted activity hierachy or
an infinite loop, for example in
LocalActivityContext.getTopContext when making an outbound
request.

Problem conclusion

The activity service's server-side interceptor was modified to
ensure that the thread is cleared of all activity service
related state once the inbound request has completed.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fix packs 6.1.0.47, 7.0.0.31, 8.0.0.8 and 8.5.5.1.  Please
