Problem summary

  • USERS AFFECTED: Classic IMS to IMS Replication customers.
    
      PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The Capture service stops reading IMS
                           logs.
    
      RECOMMENDATION:
    
    The Capture service stops reading IMS logs and it appears that
    the apply server is hung or not processing.
    

Problem conclusion

  • A wait bug was found in the code that caused the capture server
    to not read the IMS logs. This APAR addresses that bug.
