APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • You are using the "Graphs -> Legacy dialogs -> Scatter/Dot ->
    Overlay Scatterplot" or "Graphs -> Chart Builder -> Scatter/Dot"
    menus to create an overlay scatterplot with all scale level
    variables. the resulting graph has a legend to explain what is
    graphed, however it does not have axis labels, room to add them,
    or a way in the Chart Editor to add them.

Local fix

  • This issue will be addressed in a future Fix Pack. Please refer
    to the Fix Pack schedule at
    http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21599157 for
    information on upcoming Fix Packs.

    Workaround: Treat the variable in the x-axis as ordinal rather
    than scale level. This will give you both a legend and axis
    labels.
