• Custom persistent cookies which are set on the server are being
  deleted in the client upon each direct update.

Problem conclusion

• The code has been changed so that cookies are not deleted on a
  direct update.
  
  The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for fixpack 5.0.5.2,
  fixpack 5.0.6.2, and release 6.0.0.0.
