Error description

  • DB2 RRS thread hung after 00E50013. DB2 cancel thread command
or MVS CANCEL, FORCE command cannot remove the thread from DB2.
The ASCE end of task count is not zero.

A DB2 RRSAF thread is hung after an ABEND04E RC00E5013.  The
thread cannot be terminated with a DB2 cancel thread command or
an MVS CANCEL and FORCE command.

Problem conclusion


    

  • DB2 RRSAF recovery has been updated to avoid this problem with
cancelling RRSAF threads.
